This event really marked the history in U.S. It started during Lincoln’s second inaugural address, which is the famous “charity for all” speech as many critics would say. Lincoln was shot in the back of the head with a .44 caliber Derringer, percussion-cap pistol, during the performance of “Our American Cousin,” at Ford’s Theater in Washington D.C. He leaped to the stage, breaking her left fibula, and shouted, “Sic semper tyrannis!” and again shouted, “The South is avenged!” Being one of the most promising presidents in the United States, this sure is one of the most important events in U.S. history.

Talking about the most important events in the history of U.S., this is actually about the business deal concerning Thomas Jefferson where he doubled the United States of America’s area. The U.S. paid for paid 60 million francs for this deal. The area comprised some 15 states, thus Jefferson couldn’t pass up a deal. Napoleon Bonaparte, France illustrious leader at that time, made this deal mostly for money.  Two years later, he and Spain’s navies met the Lord of England, and his sale of Louisiana territory was not a sale anymore.

This Manhattan Project started in 1939, but grew to employ more than 130,000 people. He died last May 2, 2011, in Pakistan by Navy SEALs of the United States Naval Special Warfare development Group. John Fitzgerald Kennedy was assassinated on November 22, 1963 in Dealey Plaza, Dallas, Texas. He was seriously shot while traveling with his wife in a Presidential motorcade. It was investigated that he was assassinated by Lee Harvey Oswald. The assassination was suspected to be due to conspiracy. This event really shocked everyone, thus is counted as one of the most important events in U.S. history.

The American Revolution was actually the political upheaval during the last half of the 18th century. This gruesome and terrorist-inflicted tragedy has been in the mouth of many speculators and sure is worth of being one of the most important events in U.S. history.

Apollo 11 ended the Space Race and fulfilled a national goal proposed in 1961 by President John F. Kennedy. This event really marked the history of the whole world and indeed is the most important event in the U.S. history.
